Hi, I’m Lucy Weidig.

I’m a certified Christian birth doula, devoted to serving women physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences. I was born and raised in Michigan, then relocated to the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area where I completed high school and one year of college. Realizing my passion lay somewhere else, and not sure where it would take me, I completed a doula training under ToLabor, an organization for training doulas based in Richmond, Virginia. After supporting many births and learning ever more about the amazing process of pregnancy and childbirth, I am super passionate about caring for mamas and their babies and ensuring they are nurtured, advocated for, and supported before, during, and after birth.

Reach out to me today to schedule a free consultation where I can tell you more about myself and we can discuss the plan and preferences for your birth.

My Approach

I understand that birth is a process of nature, and we as humans belong to nature. As a Christian and a strong supporter of women and advocate of holistic birth practices, I believe that birth ought to be mammalized and brought back to its raw, unfiltered roots.

Woman-Centered

One of my core values is the support and empowerment of all women, especially mothers. I believe in restoring and honoring the ability, energy, respect, and strength to do something so incredible as giving birth to new life.

Holistic and integrative

I support women emotionally, physically, and spiritually throughout their birth experience by taking a nonconventional approach. Eden’s Embrace promotes normalizing natural, vaginal birth in a world of ever changing technology and disconnect.

fun facts about me

When I’m not talking about birth or advocating in the labor room, I’m an introvert with big opinions. I love Jesus, books, holistic health, and the outdoors. I have drastic plans for life like raising every kind of animal on a farm, learning herbal medicine, marrying my best friend, and free birthing my kids in the wild.
